Just Do It (Or: It's Still Fucking Tedious)

So it's been a few days since my epiphany that doing the boring shit is the key element of success. I am pleased to announce that; after this realization...the boring shit remains boring. Building habits are boring.

I don't want to write today. Or edit. At least not on the task at hand. I have a movie that is 80% finished, but what my mind wants to do is start writing a comedy horror script starring a midwestern dad.

Ok.

I put that idea in my "Script Ideas" pile and then work on the boring shit.

I hope, that with habit; this will get easier.

But if it doesn't, I'm still going to do it.

I'll be trudging away. See you tomorrow.
